A.WHAT IS A DATABASE?

Collection of information organized and presented to serve a specific purpose. It is a collection of data or information, database has the ability to store any data or information and organize it. Databases are structured to facilitate the storage, retrieval, modification, and deletion of data in conjunction with various data-processing operations.

B.WHAT TYPE OF SOFTWARE IS MICROSOFT OFFICE EXCEL?

Microsoft Office Excel is a very useful software for the users to organize and calculate data in a spreadsheet. Excel can be very helpful when we have too many information and data, by using Excel, we can easily organize and calculate all the data we have.


C.WHAT TYPE OF SOFTWARE IS MICROSOFT OFFICE ACCESS?

    Microsoft Access can help us to build or databases quickly. Access  can help us on reporting, analysis and reference. We can manage data more efficiently and analyze large amounts of information.




D.THINK OF ATLEAST TWO DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ACCESS AND
EXCEL?

Excel vs Access.
Both Excel and Access can organize both of their data, but for me, Access is better in managing data than Excel and Excel is better than Access in terms of analyzing data, performing complex calculations,  producing high quality charts and explores possible outcomes. Although Excel is more popular than Access because Excel is easier to use and has lots of flexibility.

1. What is Information management?

Information management is the collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences.

2. What is a database?

Collection of information organized and presented to serve a specific purpose.

3. What is database management system? 

DBMS or database management system is a collection of computer programs that allows storage, modification and transaction of information from a database.

4. What are the difference between RDBMS and NON-RDBMS?

RDBMS can be transacted  or updated by multiple users while NON-RDBMS has no relation, it can be only search one by one.

5. What is object-oriented database?

a type of database system that can work with complex data objects.
